To volunteer, you must be in Gainesville to attend a mandatory, in-person onboarding session. If you will not be in Gainesville for a semester's session, you will need to apply for a future semester.

Join our specialized programs!
We鈥檙e excited to offer opportunities in several of our interview-based programs this fall. These specialized areas are accepting a limited number of new volunteers through a separate application process.
Interview-based programs
Programs accepting applications include Arts in Medicine, Child Life, Dream Team, Footprints, Hospitaliteam, Solace, and Streetlight.

If offered a position in one of these programs, you will need to meet the requirements and deadlines provided by Volunteer Services to volunteer in the fall. Please note that all new volunteers must reside in Gainesville by Aug. 20, 2025 to complete required in-person onboarding steps.

Parking reminder
In order to provide parking for our patients and their guests, our garages are closed to UF and BOB体育 students, faculty and staff. Please utilize your normal methods of transportation to campus (i.e., busing, biking, walking). For additional transportation resources, such as scooters, campus connector and buses, please visit .
