Based in Alachua鈥檚 Progress Corporate Park, the Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator supports a community of companies, entrepreneurs and advisors to foster the growth of therapeutic, diagnostic, device, energy, ag-bio and other startups.
Part of the Warrington College of Business Administration, the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation offers a certificate program in new venture creation that is open to any graduate student at UF. In addition, the center鈥檚 GatorNest program develops solutions for problems facing early-stage ventures.
The center stimulates promising research and facilitate commercialization of technologies that will provide treatments and cures for human diseases. Located in Alachua's Progress Corporate Park, the centers activities include education, translational research, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Florida Biologix庐, the center's biopharmaceutical manufacturing and testing services facility, provides a broad range of drug development services.
