Cancer Specialist (Oncologist), Hematology and Oncology Specialist
Jonathan Chatzkel, MD is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of hematology and oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Chatzkel attended the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated magna cum laude, receiving a Bachelors of Arts degree with honors in Economics. He completed his medical degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an internal medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and a hematology and oncology fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Dr. Chatzel鈥檚 clinical interests include the care of patients with genitourinary cancers, including cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate, and testis. He believes strongly in delivering individualized care to each of his patients. Professional affiliations include the American Society of Clinical Oncology, or ASCO.
This phase II trial studies how well the addition of olaparib to the usual treatment, temozolomide, works in treating patients with neuroendocrine cancer (pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma) that has spread from where it first started (primary site)鈥�
This phase II/III trial examines whether patients who have undergone surgical removal of bladder, but require an additional treatment called immunotherapy to help prevent their bladder cancer from coming back, can be identified by a blood test. Many鈥�
This phase III trial uses the Decipher risk score to guide therapy selection. Decipher score is based on the activity of 22 genes in prostate tumor and may predict how likely it is for recurrent prostate cancer to spread (metastasize) to other parts鈥�
