My bio
Working with the best scientist in the cystic fibrosis, or CF, world continues to inspire my path in which I help to cure a disease that afflicts many young adults. As a clinical assistant professor of medicine in the University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, I strive to significantly alleviate the problems that come with CF and be there alongside my patients for their journey.
I completed medical school at Saint Mary鈥檚 Catholic University and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Miami 鈥 Jackson Medical Center. Afterward, I completed a critical care medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and a pulmonary medicine fellowship at Stanford University. I am board certified in internal, pulmonary and critical care medicine.
I am director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center at the University of Florida. The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at UF provides personalized care and support to patients and families affected by cystic fibrosis. Our center takes a multidisciplinary team approach, bringing together specialists from a wide variety of areas and experiences to ensure we address the many needs of our patients. Our efforts have been recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which has honored us with the Outstanding Partnership Award in 2021.
