BOB体育 Type 1 diabetes researchers named among best in world
The online tool Expertscape.com has named BOB体育鈥檚 Desmond Schatz, M.D., and , Ph.D., among the top experts worldwide in the treatment and understanding of Type 1 diabetes.
Schatz, a professor and associate chair of pediatrics in the UF College of Medicine and medical director of the UF Diabetes Institute, and Atkinson, a professor in the UF College of Medicine鈥檚 departments of pathology and pediatrics and the director of the UF Diabetes Institute, were ranked in the top 10 worldwide by Expertscape, a website aimed at helping the public find doctors and researchers devoted to specific medical conditions and disorders.
Expertscape states that it ranks physicians and researchers in multiple medical disciplines based on the quality and quantity of their scientific publications indexed in the U.S. National Library of Medicine鈥檚 MEDLINE database, the library鈥檚 premier bibliographic database.
