Title How Mentoring Makes a Difference
Facilitated by Dr. Elizabeth L. Travis, PhD, FASTRO Associate Vice President, Women's Faculty Programs University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
In this session we will hear from three mentee/mentor pairs of faculty who will provide specific examples of how mentoring relationships function effectively. Each pair will speak for 10-15 minutes. There will be time for audience participation.
Dr. Travis will illustrate examples from her own experiences including references to individual stories noted in her book, Legencs and Legacies: Personal Journeys of Women Physicians and Scientists at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Light refreshments will be served.
