Identify the problems facing the pharmaceutical industry in 2012 for the development of new dr4ugs for the treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders. Recognize the challenges and promise that enurobiology offers for the discovery of new targets and novel drugs for the treatment and prevention of neuropsychiatric diseases. Describe the new strategies that the pharmaceutical industry is employing in concert with biotech companies, academia and NIH to change and enhance the drug discovery and clinical development process.
