As of right now, in Addtion to the Q train, Girrlz can take the N train

    WHAT TO EXPECT?
many of us have lost loved ones - relatives - friends.
All of us have lost our innocence subject to the on going trauma
of terror and endless wars. Even the most jaded amongst us
need short lived girrlz sanctuary where it is ok to huddle for comfort.
You are invited to the:
Most awesome cleansing - healing - peaceful - and light hearted service
share your story - silence - song of peace, meditations of our hearts
and
your favorite prayer.
Service ending with Dinner/snacking at the: Winter Garden Restaurant

If you want to make sure that a particular song/prayer is included in the service please write: Heart4u311@aol.com to ask  minister ANAHI GALANTE and  She will try to accommodate as many requests as possible.

Please bring: A candle & a white flower

Light up a Sun Set's  candle of peace:
Light up your candle of peace and remembrance. Set if afloat (if you can manage it) or hold it to the stars in your heart/skies

Flowers upon the water:
At the end of the remembrance-peace service we will cast
our white flower of thoughts/peace/remembrance  (or you choice of symbol) upon the ocean's water to wash away our sorrow and carry our message to the far reaches of the world's shores.
We request that we all leave silently the beach area.

If you are into more colorful flowers get this:
Pink=gracefullness
White=purity
Red=Love
white and red together=unity (so they say)  or any other choices.

Attire: coming from work wearing a power suite?
1- You can watch us from the boardwalk/Restaurant
2- Join dinner only
(you will be able to see us from the Winter Garden Restaurant.
3- Take off your shoes and hop to the water line (the service is short).

about Rev ANAHI GALANTE
Rev ANAHI GALANTE, Interfaith Minister(Biography) Reverend Anahi Galante, graduated in the Summer of 2000, from the All Faith Seminary International of NYC, and was ordained as a Interfaith Minister. She is the founder of United in Grace, the GLBT Ministry at Grace Church Van Vorst in Jersey City and serves in THE OASIS ministry (The GLBT ministry) in the Diocese of Newark. Anahi brings to her “everyday day’s life and street ministries,â€� her 30 years experience in the performing arts and in the field of education, her 12 years experience in political activism from the early 70’s when speaking up cost 30,000.00 lives in her native Argentina, and her profound belief that we all are ONE. She lives in Jersey City, works as the Parish Administrator at ALL SAINTS Episcopal Parish in Hoboken, and devotes all of her spare time in community projects: producing performing arts showcases, facilitating support/discussion groups, visiting the sick, and offering in-depth spiritual counseling to those who seek her out. She loves preaching (her most recent sermon was on the “Freedom to Marryâ€� issue for same sex couples), participating in creative liturgies, performing interfaith and same sex weddings, memorial services, or rites of passage ceremonies. Currently she is in the team for Anti-racism training in the Episcopal Diocese of Newark.  In 2001, she was the coordinator for the Guest Speakers and Entertainment for First-Ever! Jersey City’s GLBT Pride Fest, and from 9/13/01 until 12/31/01, she served as chaplain of the ARC pastoral care team at Pier 94, ministering to the families and relatives of the 9/11 victims
